How Can You See the PageRank
for any Website?
There are a lot of tools for seeing the PageRank of the Home Page of any Website (every webpage on every website actually has a different PageRank, but usually the home page will be the highest, because the home page of any website, usually, has the most links pointing in to it from other websites). Seeing the PageRank for individual webpages of each website is tougher, because it requires a Google API that come with particular softwares, but ultimately, the home page of your own website vis-a-vis your competitors' websites are of greatest interest to you. The higher that is, the more it carries up the strength of the other pages on that website. So your greatest goal is to have a PR score that is at least as high as the majority of your competitors on the front page of the keywords you want... and to be sure to use the right keywords on each page you want to promote.
That's not the whole answer yet, but before we continue, let's make sure you have the ability to check your own main page's PageRank, so you can see where you stand now... and so you can see where your competitors stand (the guys who show up on the front page for the same keywords you want).
If you don't already know how to see the PageRank of your website, and your competitors, simply by visiting any website and looking at its PageRank, then follow these simple steps:
1) Make sure you have Mozilla Firefox installed. You can get it here: www.firefox.com
2) Once you have Firefox installed,
then install this free Firefox addon: WebRank Toolbar
3) Advanced Users (optional tool): If you want to see the 'keyword density' on any webpage, which we show in the video below, install SearchStatus also.
